About us

The Stop nasilju platform

Stop nasilju is a Montenegrin platform where pupils, parents and school staff can report violence — particularly violence that happens online — and find reliable information on how to recognise and stop it.

Why we exist

Violence among children is increasingly moving into the digital space: into group chats, comments, recordings and fake profiles. It is far less visible to adults than it is to the young, and it works around the clock — which is why it so often goes unreported. The platform gives one clear place to report it, and one shared language for talking about it.

Institute for Security, Law and Criminology

The project is led and funded by the Institute for Security, Law and Criminological Research — a non-governmental organisation from Montenegro that researches security, criminal law and crime, and drafts public policy recommendations. The Institute runs the platform, processes reports and works with schools and the competent institutions.

How we handle reports

  • Every report is read by a trained person, not by an automated system.
  • A report can be entirely anonymous; any details you leave are used only to act on the report.
  • High-risk cases are referred to the competent institutions as a priority.
  • The platform is not an emergency service — in an emergency call 122 or 112.
